Forgive me for the shitty photoshopping job, but this I had to post. More so cuz it crackes me up so much each and everytime I see it. Oh...I love my friends, I love exploiting their retardedness. Hehehe you guys always make me smile...
Thanksgiving would not be Thanksgiving without Turkeyfest stress and an extreme case of “Marthastewartitis”. Many thanks to all those who made the 4th annual Turkeyfest happen. Thanks to everyone who made my life easier with their quick responses and creative ideas, to those who came to appreciate the food and enjoy the crowd, and to those who kept me in check when I started rambling aka bitching about stupid shit. To my wonderful baby; my partner in crime for keeping me sane while keeping himself sane while keeping me sane. I couldn’t have done it without you. Btw, people are still raving about the jerk pork. Mmm Mark…hehee Under Trees…
Oh and Ray, we were so lost with out you!! :D We lost our turkey carver this year and nobody knew how to carve the 25lb turkey!! Thanks Batch for stepping up to the job, but damn Conjob, there was a turkey meal left on that carcass! Meh, more meat for turkey congee :P Mmm turkey congee…
I must say, this year's menu turned out to be the best one by far. It can only get better from here :) …And what’s tradition without the Leafs losing once again. Oh dear, it’s going to be a very long and painful season. Anyways, it’s always a pleasure cooking for an appreciative crowd. Thanks for coming and I hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving.
I must say first time playing on a single gender team was extremely refreshing. Though my body wasn’t really prepared to play high level Ultimate, the mind was so damn willing, and it couldn’t resist the temptation in a chance to play with a bunch of wonderful chickas and once again attempt to prove that I can and will be able to make the sister to sister connection on the field! In fact we did, on a layout no less. Hard fought games and an insane amount of highlight reels in my mind; especially that damn toed sideline layout into the Western crowd courtesy of Cyn. Sick I tell yah…SICK!!! Thanks UW girls for having me, mucho luck at Uni Nats in Montreal.
"U'DUB!!"
Congrats babe for becoming the official co-captain to Torontula’s B team. I’m glad all that time, energy, dedication, waking up at 5:00 am, going to bed at 9:00 pm and all ze hard work is being recognized and being put to good use. That’s right, mould those chumps into hard core Ultimate fighting machines!! LOL...ok stop looking at me like I’m retarded! BTW you have to stop telling me to address you Captain Mark quite frankly…its sorta kinky wouldn’t you say?…hahhaa…
Happy 23rd Birthday to Ray!! Never fails when you’re chilling with the friends you’ve known all your life; since kindergarten no less, to have an awesome time. Dinner was fun with Anita’s favourite waiter, escargots, oysters, calamari, conch (con.k), and lots of laughs. Cheers to old friends and good times.
Misssttaaaa Spaaarkkkleee!!!
Ray's the Stinky Cheeze Man!!!
Awww...
Look Conjob! We've found ze elephants!
Don't ask...I don't know this man... :S
LOL the "mainland china chinese" pose...
Oh dear, Mark and Ray look sooo au naturale...
And oh yeah... Hockey’s back! Thank God! GO LEAFS GO!! Finally something to ponder about from my Existentialism class:
We do not rest satisfied with the present. We anticipate the future as too slow in coming, as if in order to hasten its course; or we recall the past, to stop its too rapid flight. So imprudent are we that we wander in the times which are not ours, and do not think of the only one which belongs to us; and so idle are we that we dream of those times which are no more, and thoughtlessly over look that which alone exist. For the present is generally painful to us. We conceal it from our sight, because it troubles us; and if it be delightful to us, we regret to see it pass away. We try to sustain it by the future, and think of arranging matters which are not in our power, for a time which we have no certainty of reaching.
Let each on examine his thoughts, and he will find them all occupied with the past and the future. We scarcely ever think of the present; and if we think of it, it is only to take light from it to arrange the future. The present is never our end. The past and present are our means; the future alone is our end. So we never live, but we hope to live; and, as we are always preparing to be happy, it is inevitable we should never be so.~Pascal, Pensees, no. 172
I bite my straws, love muffin tops, a die hard Leafs fan, am in love with Paul Kariya, snowboard for the thrill of catchin' huge air & quite often landing on my face, recharge on plastic chasing, bake the best when I am angry, marthastewartitis, grammer black hole, and definitely a sucker for love & romance.
