Turkeyfest 2005

Thanksgiving would not be Thanksgiving without Turkeyfest stress and an extreme case of “Marthastewartitis”. Many thanks to all those who made the 4th annual Turkeyfest happen. Thanks to everyone who made my life easier with their quick responses and creative ideas, to those who came to appreciate the food and enjoy the crowd, and to those who kept me in check when I started rambling aka bitching about stupid shit. To my wonderful baby; my partner in crime for keeping me sane while keeping himself sane while keeping me sane. I couldn’t have done it without you. Btw, people are still raving about the jerk pork. Mmm Mark…hehee Under Trees…

Oh and Ray, we were so lost with out you!! :D We lost our turkey carver this year and nobody knew how to carve the 25lb turkey!! Thanks Batch for stepping up to the job, but damn Conjob, there was a turkey meal left on that carcass! Meh, more meat for turkey congee :P Mmm turkey congee…

I must say, this year's menu turned out to be the best one by far. It can only get better from here :) …And what’s tradition without the Leafs losing once again. Oh dear, it’s going to be a very long and painful season. Anyways, it’s always a pleasure cooking for an appreciative crowd. Thanks for coming and I hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving.
